Degree Requirements

Scope of Curriculum:

  1. 3 major areas of courses are provided: Energy Technology and Policy, Environmental Technology and Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). And all courses are lectured in English.
  2. NCU IESD is an interdisciplinary program. The purpose of the program is to cultivate students with multiple viewpoints and knowledge.
  3. A minimum of 32 credits is required for graduation.

The requirements of the degree are:

  1. A minimum of 24 credits in Elective coursework
  2. 6 credits of a thesis
  3. 2 credits of Special Topics
※The students will be awarded the ‘Master of Science’ degree from International Master’s Program in Environment Sustainable Development, College of Engineering after completing their studies.
※For those who are interested in Chinese, NCU Language Center provides different levels Chinese courses.
